About Me

We all are affected by the things we go through.

I love giving birth to hope, meaning and self-efficacy for others and to facilitate time spent together with curiousity and compassion.

It is an honour to walk alongside others and be given the opportunity to journey with someone, even if for a short time.

"It's not what happens to us that matters, but our reaction to it that does."

I began training as a Counsellor in 2006 and along with other employed roles, have worked in private practice since then.  I have been a full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors since 2019 and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate (renewed annually).

For your safety and confidence in me, I have chosen to register with the above Association and as part of said membership, I am required to commit to regular and ongoing professional development annually and to regular appointments with a mentor which serve to uphold the New Zealand Association of Counsellors' Code of Ethics: Microsoft Word - NZAC Code of Ethics 2002 Revised 2020.doc.  These all contribute to ensuring I am working for my best practice as a clinician to ethically and competently support you.

"Always come away with new ideas for growth and longterm self improvement as well as a more positive attitude... highly recommend"

"I can't speak highly enough of Alli.  I always go into our chats thinking I don't have a lot of say, before I know it the hour has passed.  Would recommend Alli to anyone that needs help dealing with any type of challenge, changes, grief or trauma."
